Testimonials
Having owned an RD350LC 20 years ago, I once again wanted another, but not like the LC that I had back then, so I bought an unfinished project from eBay. I needed an expert to look over it, so after much research, I came across Simon Thompson of 70’s- 80’s Restorations. For me, if someone is going to build and restore my dream bike, communication is paramount, either by email, text message, phone call or in person. Well, Simon delivered on all accounts. His attention to detail is second to none, and knowledge of this bike and others is vast. When the bike was finished, I was very happy with it, any teething problems I had, Simon very quickly sorted them out. Even his aftercare service is first class. Once again Simon, many thanks!
Simon, just taken delivery of the bike and it looks amazing just waiting for the rain to stop so I can take her out for our first spin together. Thanks for doing such a great job I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone else who needs a bike like mine sorting, Thanks Again”
This was the second of two LCs built for me by Simon and I would just like to say many thanks to him for all his hard work and attention to detail put into each bike. At all times I was kept up to date with the progress of the project. There were regular meetings either by phone or by person to discuss any design points which were always overcome in a professional manner. If you are looking for a one-off motorcycle or a restoration I would recommend talking to Simon.
